These terms govern your use of the Garden Design app for iOS. By downloading or using the app you agree to them.
What Garden Design is
Garden Design produces an illustration of how your outdoor space could look in a chosen style, drawn on the photo you provide. It is a visualisation and an idea, not a construction drawing, a survey or a planting plan prepared by a professional. Nothing it produces is engineering, horticultural, planning or legal advice.
Before you build from it
Check any design against the real site before spending money on it. Levels, drainage, soil, services buried in the ground, boundary lines, rights of way, tree protection orders and local planning rules are invisible to a photograph. Plant suggestions are chosen for the style and climate you selected and may not suit your soil, aspect or local availability; confirm them with a nursery or a landscaper. We are not responsible for work carried out from a design or a plant list.
One free design
Each installation gets one design at no cost. That is a design, not a trial: nothing starts, nothing renews and no payment method is needed to use it.
Subscriptions
The optional Premium subscription (weekly or yearly) unlocks 40 designs per rolling seven days — variations and painted corrections included — 10 HD exports per seven days, the full plant and shopping list, and unlimited projects. Both prices are shown side by side in the app before you buy. No trial period is offered. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account; subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel them at any time in your App Store account settings.
Your allowance
A design that fails, is cancelled, or is rejected because the photo is not an outdoor space never counts against your allowance. The count is kept on our server and shown in the app before you spend it.
What you may photograph
Only photograph a property you own or have permission to photograph, and do not submit photographs of people, of other people's property without their agreement, or content that is unlawful. We may refuse to process an image.
Your designs
Your photo is yours. The designs the app produces from it are yours to use, including commercially — for example, to brief a landscaper. They are generated by a machine learning model and may be similar to designs produced for other people from similar photographs.
Acceptable use
Garden Design is licensed to you for personal use on Apple devices you own or control, under the standard Apple licensed-application terms. Do not attempt to use the service to generate content unrelated to garden design, or to make automated requests outside the app.
No warranty
Garden Design is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app or from work carried out from its designs.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. The date above shows the current version; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
